Welcome to homelab.codes - Where Tech Passion Meets Practice
Join me on a journey through tech exploration, from home lab setups to enterprise solutions, as I share insights from nearly two decades of experience.
Hey y'all and Happy New Year!
Welcome to homelab.codes! I'm excited to kick off my journey blogging and sharing the knowledge I've gathered over nearly two decades in the tech space.
Here, I’ll write about various topics, from network security and setting up media libraries to exploring the depths of graph databases, data movement (think Apache NiFi, Kafka, and more), and enterprise security. I'm passionate about ML/AI and the GenAI space, big data, the data management space, and especially Neo4j, where I work (this is a personal blog, but I genuinely love Neo4j, and you'll see that influence in the content from time to time). Expect to see all of those influences woven into the content.
I'm also launching a collection of web-based tools that are free to use and designed to help fellow home lab enthusiasts. I invite you to join the conversation on X, Reddit, and GitHub, where I'm always open to feedback and new ideas.
To sum it up, I created this as a place to capture my thoughts, track the projects I'm working on, and just chart and document my journey. I'm doing this for me, but I hope that by putting this out in the open, sharing the tools I create, and walking through the journey, I can help a few others on their journey. Thank you all for taking the time to check this out, and I look forward to seeing you out there.
Stay tuned for more, and let's explore this tech journey together!
